Hi, I am Sam,
an artist and photographer based in Branford, CT.
I photograph weddings with a focus on playful, intimate, and liminal moments; the fleeting in-betweens that happen just before, during, and after the big moments. I’ve spent over 10 years working in the wedding industry as both a lead photographer and a freelance second shooter, as well as day of coordinating. I've learned how to anticipate moments, adapt quickly, and hold space for real emotion. That experience allows me to move quietly when needed, step in with confidence when it counts, and create images that feel human, emotional, and lived-in rather than posed or perfect.
Alongside my wedding work, my fine art practice explores quiet moments, memory, and liminal space. These themes deeply resonate with me and shaped my first curatorial experience with The Void Art Exhibition, a project rooted in pause, presence, and the unseen. Both my art and photography are guided by intuition, curiosity, and a love for what exists in between.
I’m endlessly inspired by fresh air, the shoreline, and creative work that feels honest. You’ll usually find me with a camera nearby, following light and instinct, and unapologetically fueled by Dr. Pepper.
